Day two and things are looking up already

So, as you may have already read, I was in search of a new job. Best Buy just wasn't cutting it anymore so I though it time to say goodbye and move on. Well, while the blog doesn't mention this I have spent the better part of two months trying to escape from that place.. and not for lack of trying... but nothing ever came up. But good news! I'm out. Effective on January third I can burn my blues and get to working behind the counter at a bank. Now this may not seem all too exciting to the outside observer but I finally have a chance to get weekends to myself, I'm getting paid more, have a more constant schedule AND I don't have to wear a stupid uniform. Ha ha! I feel liberated and have already written my seperation notice. For those of you who have experianced the leaving of a longterm job that you hated it's like being on drugs isn't it?

Anyway, other then that not much has been going on - I do get my laptop back today. Stupid emachine piece of crap. Whenever I put the darned power plug in the dumb thing smoked. Yeah, you read that right, the inside sodder was BURNING! How fun. :-( Well, the good news is that they've been quick with it - only 4 business days as promised and it's already coming back home. Using the boyfriends computer all the time just isn't the same. I miss all my own stuff... (maybe I'm just a little wierd). So, let's hope that it doesn't come back with the same problem. Knowing my luck it will - but god things happen in three's so maybe I'll luck out this time around.
